'My Story" Contest Rules

Official Contest Rules: "Your Story Could Be"Next

“By entering, participants agree to a complete release of Facebook from any and all liability associated with this promotion”. 

Eligibility:

  • IF, you are a current follower on one of  my social media accounts or current Crafty Kate email subscriber at time of entry
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be a US resident
  • No Purchased Required

 

How to Enter:

  • Complete the “Help Me Tell My Story” questionnaire 
  • One entry per person
  • Multiple submissions will be disqualified
  • All fields marked “required” must be completed

 

Contest Period:

  • Entries accepted from 12-01-2025 to 01-15-2026 at 11:59pm PST
  • Winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries
  • Winner announced on 01-22-2026

 

Prize: Winner receives:

Feature story published on CraftyKates.com (approximately 500-1000 words)

  • Story shared across Crafty Kate social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Professional photography session (if winner has vehicle to feature; location within 50 miles of RODs West
  • Verbal shout-out at next Classic Burgers Annual Car Show

 Winner Requirements:

  • Must respond within 72 hours of notification
  • Must be willing to participate in interview/questionnaire for story development
  • Must provide photos or participate in photo session
  • Must sign release for story publication and photo usage
  • If winner does not respond or cannot fulfill requirements, alternate winner will be selected

 

Story Content:

  • Winner will work with Crafty Kate to develop their story
  • Focus can be: car restoration journey, racing memories, community connection, or personal automotive story
  • Final editorial control remains with Crafty Kate Promotions
  • Content must be appropriate for all audiences

Help Me Tell My Story

Because this story belongs to all of us

For years, you’ve asked me to tell my story.

Not just the racing.
Not just the car shows.
Not just the Hollywood years.

But the real story — the moments, the people, the challenges, the heart behind it all.

This contest is my way of finally doing that — with you, not without you.

Why I’m Doing This

Crafty Kate isn’t just my story.

It’s built from:

  • late nights at the track

  • early mornings flipping burgers for a cause

  • friendships formed over engines and laughter

  • setbacks that tested me

  • and a community that never stopped showing up

I’ve lived a lot of chapters — racer, promoter, community builder, advocate — but the truth is, you’ve lived parts of this story with me.

I want my bio to reflect the journey as it was, not just as it looks from the outside.

What Makes This Different

This isn’t a marketing bio.
It’s not something written in a vacuum.
And it’s not just dates and titles.

This is a community-built story.

I’m asking:

  • What moments stood out to you?

  • What parts of the journey mattered most?
